Step 1 — Download the .zip from your Payhip library, then right-click it and choose Extract All. Wallpaper Engine can't read a zipped folder, so don't skip this.

Step 2 — Open Steam, right-click Wallpaper Engine in your library, then Manage, then Browse local files.

Step 3 — Open the projects folder, then myprojects.

Step 4 — Drag the whole extracted folder into myprojects — the folder itself, not the three files on their own. This is the step most people miss.

Step 5 — Restart Wallpaper Engine. The wallpaper shows up in your Installed tab, ready to apply.

If you want the full soundscape, that lives on my YouTube channel, where the same scenes run as long-form horror ambience with audio.

Wallpaper Engine, bought on Steam, running on Windows. That's the only requirement — these are standard Wallpaper Engine projects, not a separate app, so there's nothing else to install.

There's no macOS version of Wallpaper Engine, so these won't run on a Mac.

Yes, automatically. Anything I add to a collection you've bought lands in your account within about an hour — no extra charge, nothing to re-buy, nothing to claim. Just open your Payhip download link again and the new files are there.

All Access covers the whole catalogue plus every release from here on. New scenes go up most weeks.

No — each wallpaper is licensed to you, for your own devices. Please don't re-upload them to the Steam Workshop, Discord servers or wallpaper sites.

Re-uploads are filed as DMCA takedowns with Valve and removed, and Steam restricts or closes accounts for repeat infringement. Any account caught sharing these files also loses access to all future downloads here.

If a friend likes one, send them the link instead — that's what keeps new wallpapers coming.
